Children’s Social Worker – Part Time – Fostering

Seven Social Care is looking for a Qualified Children’s Social Worker to start work in Bolton.

You will support the Family and Friends Fostering Team. This is an agency post for 3 – 6 months initially, with the view to extending. Pay rate is £35 an hour.

This is a part-time role.  

Your key responsibilities will include:

Undertaking viability assessments of proposed connected person carers and Special Guardians

Being part of a duty rota (alongside colleagues) in order to undertake regulation 24 assessments

Preparing and assessing prospective connected person foster carers and

Special Guardians, including compiling complex assessment reports to present to the fostering panel and the Court.

Essential Requirements:

SWE Registered

Statutory Social Work experience in children’s services including work with children in need and those in need of protection.

Up to date enhanced DBS

Essential car user post
