Communications and Engagement Officer

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Covid-19 Vaccines Communications and Engagement Officer to work in Tower Hamlets. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £17.86 – £22.88 per hour (PAYE and umbrella company payment options available).

The role:

To support multiple streams of covid-19 engagement work; including children & young people, booster jab programme, & encouraging people to come forward for their 1st & 2nd doses; links with our Community Champions, Engagement bus, & Ambassadors programme.

Key Responsibilities:

To encourage uptake & raise awareness of the Covid-19 vaccination programme

To create accessible content & assets to support engagement

To work in partnership across the Council & with community stakeholder

Develop & deliver training to staff, residents & wider stakeholder on the current vaccination offer & wider Covid-19 key messages

Support wider service development & delivery as and when required.

The role will require occasional on the ground presence in the borough, as well as remote working.

Close liaison with the Vaccine, Engagement-and Testing Operations Managers.

• Qualifications: N/A.
• Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
• Compliance: References covering the last 2 years.
• Hours: 40 hours p/w.
