Community Social Worker

Seven Social Care is working with Sandwell Council to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for their Adults Community Team.

Pay £28 per hour

Initial 3 month contract.

We offer induction, hybrid working, provide IT equipment, regular supervision, access to training, a friendly and supportive team and access to experienced line management support.

Job Purpose:

West Bromwich Adults Community Social Work Team are looking for a Social Worker for immediate start on a 3 month contract paying up to £28 per hour dependent on experience.

Duties:

Complete social care outcome focused assessments, and reviews of needs for adults living in their homes in the community, care homes, supported housing schemes and supported living units. – Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, completing Court of Protection Documents as part of assessments when required. – Identify safeguarding and undertaking section 42 safeguarding enquiries and following the guidelines as outlined in the Care Act 2014. – Support with duty, maintaining a case load, case management, dealing with complex cases – Continuing Healthcare and working within a timely manner to meet deadlines.

Applicant Requirements:

– Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

– Experience: 2+ years working with adults as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.

– Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.

– Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

– Hours: 37 hours p/w.
