Community Support Worker

Seven Social Care are currently looking for several Community Support Workers to work in Lancashire in a Supported Living Service. This is a temporary post, initially for 3 – 6 months with the possibility of placement extension.
The role:
This role is full time (42 Hours Per Week) and is paid at £10.98 per hour plus: 33% increment at weekends, 50% increment for Bank Hols.
Responsibilities:
You will be required to work as part of a team, supporting 4 individuals within their own home. Between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00pm this can be provided by two workers as a 7 hour and 5 hour shift or one worker working a 12 hour shift.
Ensuring a safe environment whilst providing support with day-to-day domestic and social activities. You will be required to support the individuals to maintain dignity and personal hygiene so will need to be confident in supporting with personal care and as such they will be required to be trained and competent in moving and assisting.
You will be required to support Individuals with the administration of medication.
An understanding of how to support and work with other staff to support individuals during seizure activity.
You will be required to maintain day to day records to include but not exclusively, health, care, medication, and social diary.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care / NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care (Desirable)
Experience: Experience within a similar role
Compliance: Current DBS check, right to work in the UK.

Travel: Full UK driving license (desirable)
