Contracts Manager – Environment and Transport

Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Drivers (Passenger fleet) to work within Leicestershire.
Initial 3 month contract as you’re covering a vacancy.
£11.17 per hour
Temp – perm opportunities are possible but not 100% guaranteed. You would need to re-apply however if you’re already in the service then you have a better chance of being successful.
Job Description: We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team in Leicestershire, specifically focusing on the Environment and Transport sector. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing contracts related to environmental and transportation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of our local environment and transportation infrastructure.
- Manage and administer contracts related to environment and transport projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure effective project delivery.
- Monitor contract performance, including quality, cost, and timeliness, and take appropriate actions to address any issues that arise.
- Conduct contract negotiations, resolve disputes, and manage any necessary changes or amendments to contracts.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts, including contract variations, correspondence, and contract closeouts.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environment and transportation contracts.
- Previous experience in contract management, preferably in the environment and transport sector.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, including contract negotiation, interpretation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyse contract terms and conditions.
- Proficiency in using computer software and tools for contract management.
- A degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
