Seven Social Care is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to work with Nottingham City Council.

Pay rate – £24.65 per hour

The role:

Nottingham City Council has a significant Selective Licensing Scheme in operation covering approximately 30,000 properties. The roles are required to undertake housing inspections as part of the Council’s Selective Licensing scheme to ensure compliance with the licence conditions and overall scheme objectives. This would be a variety of housing types and take appropriate action under HHSRS, (part 1) and housing licensing (part 3) of the Housing Act 2004, as appropriate. Officers would be expected to manage their own caseload. The Council continues to operate flexible working with staff working at home, but this is likely to change in the future, but it is expected there will continue to be some home working in the future. There is no parking at the Council building, although, good park and ride and public transport links in Nottingham, as well as city centre car parks.
