Families First Advice Line Advisor

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a Families First Advice Line Advisor to start a new role in Vale of Glamorgan.

As a Families First Advice Line Advisor, you will join the Families First Line which is the single point of access for Early Help services and sits under prevention within Children’s Services.

The Families First Advice Line completes Wellbeing Assessments to identify the strengths within the family as well as areas for support.

Responsibilities:

To provide advice and guidance, initially by telephone, to both professionals and families based on their personal support requirements.

To signpost professionals and families to appropriate local services to ensure that relevant support is provided.

To undertake service user assessments including assessments of need and assessments of risk to inform casework planning, in line with Service and national standards.

To provide high quality services to children, young people and their families/carers.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience working with children and their families

Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in relevant subject

Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK  

Hours: 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

Travel: Full UK driving license
