Family Case Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Family Case Worker to start a new role in Winsford, Cheshire. This is initially a temporary post for 3 months with the possibility of placement extension.
The role:
You will provide an intensive, high quality, support and advocacy service to families with multiple and complex issues that secures better outcomes for children. Enable transformational change in behaviours amongst families and communities across Cheshire West and Chester. The family case worker will play a lead role in advocating for families, ensuring they are signposted to effective support; thereby empowering them to become more independent members of their community, assisting in the reduction of workless households and ensuring children are school ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high quality direct work, including evidenced based interventions, with parents/carers and children to promote resilience, affect positive change in behaviours, development skills and their ability to resolve multiple and complex problems.
Establish and enable effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure a high standard of service is provided to families.
Be an advocate for families, assisting them in reducing barriers and blockages to support services enabling families to achieve sustainable outcomes.
Applicant Requirements:
Experience: Experience of working with children, young people and their families.
Qualifications: BTEC National/NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent in a relevant discipline, for example, health and social care, housing, employment, benefits etc.
Compliance: Up to date enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to work in the UK.
Hours: 37 hours a week
