Family Hub Coach

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Family Hub Coach to work in Staffordshire Moorlands. The position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £13.41 PAYE or £16.70 umbrella per hour. The working hours are part-time, being offered at 18.5 per week and can be negotiated for the right candidate.
The role:
To work effectively with children and families to secure improved outcomes and reduce their need for specialist service interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- To actively engage children, young people, and their parents/carers to ensure appropriate access to early and statutory education is secured and maintained.
- Complete direct work including emergency work with children, young people and their families maximizing their involvement in accordance with outcomes identified in the child’s plan.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other locality providers.
- Engage with families to complete direct work with children and young people and their families to promote healthy lifestyles, positive peer/family relationships and safe parenting to develop a good understanding of their culture/community identity.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other locality providers.
- Work persistently and assertively with families and other agencies to assess, provide or co-ordinate targeted support.
- Signpost to and support children and young people to engage with appropriate agencies and activities to promote their life chances and outcomes.
- To deliver evidence-based group work.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum standard of NVQ 3 in respect of working with children and their families or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Experience: Solid experience working directly with children, their families, or carers in a relevant setting.
- Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 18.5 hours p/w.
