Seven Social Care is looking for a Family Information Service Support Assistant at Vale Of Glamorgan Council

MAJOR PURPOSE OF POST

To assist in the delivery, maintenance and development of the Vale Family Information Service

To support the administration and development of the ‘Index of children with disabilities or additional needs’ in the Vale of Glamorgan

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist in the delivery, maintenance and development of the Family Information Service

Contacting organisations providing activities for children and young people and family support organisations, to update their details on the Dewis Cymru website.

Sending out information about services and support to families via various media including e-bulletins, social media and web, including producing and formatting text, drafting articles, uploading to digital platforms

Gain feedback from parents, carers and professionals, who have contacted the service, to help evaluate the service offered

Support the FIS Team with their enquiry helpline by taking messages and forwarding appropriately.
