Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Family Support Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity specialising in the wellbeing of families across Leicester.

The role:

As Family Support Worker, you will be be assisting Social workers in their day to day tasks as directed by the Team manager. Liasion with carers and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit families to drop things as required
• Supervise contacts between parents and children
• Transport children to various venues
• Admin tasks
• Co-ordinating a variety of activities ie Health appts for children
• Accompany Social worker where necessary
• Travelling to various locations to deliver and collect items
• Reporting to the Team Manager of the Child in Need team

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years working with children and young people.
• Compliance: Up to date DBS.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
