Head of Income Management

JOB DESCRIPTION
Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Head of Income Management for Haringey Council for a temporary contract of 3-6 months with a view to extend and possibly going perm.
Hybrid working – 2 days per week in office. Able to be part of senior management out-of-hours emergency rota – approx. once every 8 weeks
The role:
We are looking for a proactive leader to spearhead improvements to our current income recovery model, drive up performance and compliance, and embed a customer centric culture. A resilient and positive leader with an track record for:
1. Routinely achieving targets at head of service level
2. Developing high performing and highly motivated teams to optimise rental income, rent accounts and financial inclusion within a changing and challenging environment.
3. Successfully implementing new and creative solutions to maximise performance.
4. Communicating and engaging positively with your department and other stakeholders to maximise performance.
5. Managing teams of 30+ in similar function.
Key Responsibilities:

To work closely and effectively as part of Housing Management SMT providing a model of first-rate leadership behaviour to achieve service excellence, driving forward continuous improvements, developing policies and process to create a modern service in response to the organisation’s requirements.

To lead effectively on all aspects of the income management functions by developing high performing and highly motivated teams with customer focus and strong ethos of partnership working, creating and implementing the right strategic vision and pro-actively leading on change as necessary to optimise income collection at all times within a changing environment.

To lead and direct the performance of the income services team, responsible for the full range of activities rent accounting, income collection across all tenures, , financial inclusion and identifying growth areas of work that enhance the service.

To ensure the team always promote the values and behaviours of excellent customer service

- Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role and with a Housing background
