HR Assistant – Hybrid

Seven Social Care is looking for a HR Assistant – Hybrid at Central Bedfordshire Council

The role:

To work alongside the wider HR team completing administration/transactional activities.

These will include:

– completing recruitment clearance checks

– administration of reference requests, updating spreadsheets, monitoring of an inbox, communicating with candidates and hiring managers

– assisting colleagues with other HR tasks, such as general enquiries, administration of DBS system, updating HR systems Essential skills and experience will be

– experience of using Microsoft systems, SharePoint is preferable – communication

– written and verbal

– ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

– must be able to prioritise own workload and work to agreed processes and policies

– administration experience is essential

This role will be Hybrid

– should the worker not be able to safely work from home (a DSE will be undertaken) a desk space will be found in a CBC office location.

There will be a requirement for the worker to collect IT equipment and return this to Priory House, Shefford.

Training will be on-site at this location for a minimum of 2 weeks and there is a requirement that the worker is able to work from Priory House, Shefford a minimum of 1 day a week.

You will need to be confident in the use of various IT systems, along with having experience in a busy admin environment using excellent communication and organisational skills.
