Seven Social Care are looking for a General Kitchen Assistant in the beautful Vale of Glamorgan area.

The rate of pay is £9.43 P/H.

Job Purpose:

Prepare and cook food items as directed and in accordance with standard recipes within a care home setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the correct storage & chilling of food in accordance with instructions.

To clean as directed kitchen equipment, work surfaces, storage facilities and any associated areas.

To receive and check deliveries for quality and quantity and action according to instruction.

To follow all quality control procedures and complete any documentation as necessary.

To report equipment defects and any other problems arising in the course of normal work.

To assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production unit.

To contribute to COSHH and risk assessments allied to the use of chemicals, associated equipment and activity and comply with all resulting instructions and procedures.

To carry out all duties and responsibilities with a can do attitude.

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience: 
• Experience of working in a food environment.
• Health & Safety
• Compliance: Up to date Passport and Drivers Licence.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
