Seven Nursing are currently seeking Learning Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide support to individuals with learning disabilities in the Portsmouth region. The role involves incredibly rewarding work in helping these individuals live as independently as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care, support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities in their homes or in the community. The duties will include:

– Supporting individuals with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.

– Supporting individuals to access local community services and participate in community activities.

– Supporting individuals to maintain their wellbeing and manage their daily routine.

– Maintaining accurate records and completing daily reports on the care and support provided.

Essential requirements:

– Minimum of six months experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

– Ability to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.

– Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Desirable requirements:

– A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
