Occupational Therapist

Seven Social Care are currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic, certified Occupational Therapist who is seeking an opportunity to apply their professional expertise in one of the leading healthcare facilities in Cambridge. You will be playing a key role in improving the patients’ lives by aiding them to recuperate and regain skills from injuries, disability, and illness.
Responsibilities:
1. Assess patient’s health condition and create personalized treatment plans.
2. Utilize various occupational therapy techniques to gradually improve the functionality of the patient’s body.
3. Aid patients in redeveloping their motor skills and support their independence.
4. Handle therapeutic equipment and educate patients on their correct usage.
5. Consistently monitor and evaluate patient’s progress, and adjust the treatment plan if needed.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize the effectiveness of the treatments.
7. Maintain detailed records of patient’s therapy and progress.
8. Follow professional standards and guidelines while conducting therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
1. A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
3. Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist ideally within a hospital or healthcare facility.
4. Strong knowledge of modern occupational therapy techniques and equipment.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. A compassionate approach towards patients.
8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different scenarios.
