Occupational Therapist

Seven Resourcing is working with Coventry Council to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist for Initial Contact and Promoting Independence Team based at Friargate Lane.

£30 – £34 per hour

37 hours, 8:30-5 with hour and flexibility within that so anywhere between 7:30-6:30. Could condense hours into 4 days if needed. Hybrid working (2 days in the office)

Qualified and HCP registered Occupational therapist.

Experience in:

·      Working with people who have a learning disability / Autism.

·      Working with Adults with disabilities.

·      Undertaking therapy assessments and support planning.

·      Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – possible experience in using picture communication tools.

·      Promoting Independence and supporting people to maximise their independence through, advice, information, rehabilitation, practice of task and provision of aids and adaptations.

·      Working in a multidisciplinary team.

·      Record keeping and assessment writing.

·      Understanding of adult social care and health legislations E.g. Care Act 2014, Manual handling regulations 1992, Health and Safety at Work Act 1947??
