Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Operations Manager to work within North Yorkshire Council. This is a full time position, and we are paying £21.26 per hour for this role.
The role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our Building Services & Maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of building maintenance services, managing a team of professionals, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall facility performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize building services and maintenance processes.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects and tasks.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to meet industry standards and guidelines.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Compliance: Current Standard DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
