Personal Advisor – Childrens Pathways Team

Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Personal Advisor to work with the Permanence and Transitions Team in Totnes. This contract is paying £22.14 per hour.
The role:
The Children and Families Team form part of Southampton City Council’s operations hub.
The service is responsible for enabling and delivering a range of support to children young people, their families and carers and the professionals who support them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional services to schools and settings to ensure children and young people learn and are ready for adult life.
Strong leadership of and partnership with the education system in Southampton to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Early Help with partners to prevent children and families needing more specialist help, building resilience in families and coordinating support across professional networks.
Providing and overseeing services for children and young people who have a special educational need or disability.
Leading coordinated offers of support to Children in Need and Children in Need of Protection to reduce need and risk.
Looking after children and young people in the City who cannot live with their own families and helping them to successfully leave our care.
Leading provision for Youth Offending across the City.
Recruiting and supporting foster carers, adopters and family and friends carers for vulnerable children.
Ensuring that services are compliant with regulation and statutory guidance and policy and that we are continually improving through work force development, performance monitoring, independent review and case audit.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 or Equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Compliance: Current DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
