Programme Manager – Carers Strategy Implemation

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Programme Manager to work with Cambridgeshire County Council. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and will be paying a day rate of £550 via Umbrella. The role can be home-based with occasional travel to the office or community locations across the county. The role is full time with 37 working hours per week with an immediate start.

The role:

Cambridgeshire County Council wish to appoint a Programme Manager to complete the implementation of its Carers Strategy. The role will involve establishing and managing a programme to implement an all-age carers Strategy within the Local Authority, working in collaboration with people with lived experience and partner stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Proven programme management skills and knowledge of managing Strategic Programmes approach.

Experience of leading change and transformation in a local government or public sector organisation.

Adult Social Care and Unpaid Carers knowledge and experience.

At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.

Clean driving licence with the ability to commute to and from work and office.
