Qualified Permanence Social Worker

Seven Social Care is working with Nottinghamshire County Council to recruit 2x Qualified Social Workers for their Permanence service.
Initial 3 months with the possibility of extension.
£35 per hour.
Duties:
The role is to work with children looked after to co work with the Court Team whilst a parallel plan is in place and complete, sibling assessments, child permanence reports, viability assessments, special guardianship assessments. Once placement order is made, the social workers in the team match a child with an adoptive family, carry out direct work/life story work and books/prepare for adoption.
The role involves moving children to live with their adoptive family until the adoption order is made.
The team also complete non agency assessments. The role requires social workers who can write reports, collate information and are able to organise their diary to prioritise and plan their work.
It would be beneficial to have experience with children in care, court work and permanence.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
- Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
