Qualified Social Worker

  • Salary: £200 - £240 per day

Seven Social Care are seeking a compassionate and qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Stockton on the Forest. This professional will play a vital role in providing high-quality assistance, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and delivering proven intervention models to the individuals and families in need within our community.

Responsibilities:

1. Effectively manage caseloads, focusing on vulnerable adults/children and their families, undertake assessments of risk, need, and capacity and respond appropriately.

2. Implement, review and update care plans and contribute to the provision of efficient, effective, and high-quality service to clients.

3. Work in collaboration with other professionals and agencies to meet the diverse needs of clients and their families.

4. Conduct home visits to carry out risk assessments, arrange care resources or amenities necessary for the clients.

5. Ensure safeguarding inquiries are carried out according to the local authority’s guidelines and statutory requirements.

6. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for legal action.

7. Attend court hearings and provide expert testimony if required.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work.

2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

3. Substantial experience in a social work setting.

1. Strong commitment to the principles of social justice and equal opportunity.

2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

4. High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively.

6. Proficient computer skills for record keeping and report writing.
