Qualified Social Worker

- Salary: £200 - £240 per day

Seven Social Care are seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Social Worker for a position located in Darlington, UK. The successful candidate will provide professional, high quality social work support to service users, delivering empathetic and understanding assistance for a range of issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Undertake comprehensive assessments of individuals, carers and/or families in need or at risk to inform the development of high-quality, cost-effective and personalised care plans.
2. Conduct risk assessments and deliver targeted intervention to people in need, providing appropriate recommendations and resolving ongoing issues.
3. Maintain up-to-date and accurate case notes. Ensure all data handling complies with the necessary legal, policy and procedural requirements for record keeping.
4. Liaise and collaborates effectively with a range of agencies and stakeholders, including health professionals, care providers and partner organisations.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary team/inter-agency meetings and forums to inform best outcomes for clients.
6. Adhere to the Social Work England Professional Standards and any local policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Must hold a degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and be fully registered with Social Work England.
2. Proven experience working within a statutory setting as a Qualified Social Worker is essential.
3. Knowledge of safeguarding issues and the legal framework surrounding social work.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and liaise effectively with other professionals.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present sensitive information in a clear, professional manner.
6. Must have a valid UK driver’s license and access to a car for work purposes.
7. Enhanced DBS check will be required.
