What you will do:
- Register and maintain Ofsted registration as the children’s home manager, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Lead a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care and family support services.
- Safeguard children and ensure consistent practice and decision-making across residential care provisions.
- Engage with young people and their families in developing and monitoring care and support packages.
- Develop partnerships with professionals within and outside of children’s services to enhance the service offered.
- Efficiently manage the home’s financial budget while maintaining governance and oversight of home performance.
- Provide effective leadership and direction to ensure service delivery meets the needs of children, young people, and families.
- Participate in local authority decision-making processes and contribute to the service’s ongoing improvement.
