SEND Case Manager

Seven Social Care are currently searching for a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) Case Manager in Leicester, UK. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced, with a proven track record in managing SEND cases within educational settings.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the planning and delivery of comprehensive SEND provision, ensuring all legal and statutory requirements are met.

2. Analyse and review SEND data, writing up reports and making recommendations for improvements.

3. Develop close relationships with pupils, parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure that each SEND student has a tailored and effective support plan.

4. Regularly review individual education, health and care (EHC) plans.

5. Participate in multi-agency meetings and collaboratively work towards improvement and progress for each SEND student.

6. Offer guidance to school staff with regards to SEND regulations and practices.

7. Efficiently manage the SEND budget and resources.

8. Ensure the School’s SEND policy is adhered to and kept current.

Qualifications:

1. A degree qualification and further professional qualifications in special education (SEND) or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a SEND case manager or a similar role within an educational setting.

3. Comprehensive knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple cases concurrently and problem solve effectively.

6. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members.
