Seven Social Care are looking for a Senior Domestic Violence Advocate to work within Ealing and Harrow.
The role:
This role involves attending and working in partnership with MARACs, MASH, Police, Newham VAWG+ Group & Domestic Abuse Network Meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the proactive running and day to day supervision of the service ensuring that women and children and men receive the relevant support and that all health and safety matters are fully addressed.
Manage high profile/intensive case work. In addition, the Senior IDVA will screen and allocate all non-crime referrals to the BAMER worker and Safety Planner.
To ensure that SafeLives DASH Risk assessment, Individual Safety & Support Plan, Severity of Abuse Grid are in place and reviewed 6 weekly to support the client.
Help with access to legal advice, housing needs, tenancy support, support of children and access to learning or employment Ensure that identified support targets have been met in conjunction with other agencies delivering care and support services to clients and ensure outcome focused support planning.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications:
- GCSE or Equivalent in English and Maths
Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
Compliance: Recent DBS check on the update service.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
