Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Senior Procurement Officer to work within Nottinghamshire.
Initial 3 month contract as you’re covering a vacancy.
£23.09 per hour
Hybrid working.

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods, services, and works for the council, while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to achieve the council’s objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and maintain a supplier database.
- Prepare and manage tender processes, including the drafting of tender documentation, evaluation of bids, and contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in a public sector or large organizational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Familiarity with EU procurement directives and their application.
