Senior Support Assistant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Senior Support Assistant to work in Gateshead. This position is initially for a period of 4 months with the potential for a longer contract, and is paying £11.81 to £14.79 per hour.

The working hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. 

The role:

The Senior Support Assistant will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out the administrative aspects of recruitment for a range of vacancies, liaising with candidates and managers to ensure that all stages of the recruitment process run efficiently and effectively.

Ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding process for new employees. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our new hires and setting the stage for their success within the Council.

Guiding new employees through required paperwork and procedures.

Maintain accurate records of new hire documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.

Collect feedback from new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve the onboarding experience and processes.

Such other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:

 N/A. 

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role. 

Compliance: 2 years written references and proof of right to work in the UK. 

Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
