Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Support Team Manager to work within Sandwell Council. This is a full time role, paying £16 p/h.

LocationWillow Gardens Extra Care Services, Harvest Road, Rowley Regis B65 8FG.

Job Summary:


Willow Gardens is an Extra Care facility providing planned care and support to individuals living in their own homes. The scheme comprises of 90 self-contained flats and provides a person-centred Care and Support to these individuals.

As well as the care and support aspect of the service we also provide social opportunities and community engagement within the communal areas of the scheme.

We currently have a temporary vacancy for a Support Team Manager to join our team to support and promote the values of this service, manage a team of Staff and work closely with the Extra Care manager and other Support Team managers and Senior Care and Housing Support Managers.


–      Provide a quality Care and Support service to individuals who use the service.

–      Provide Support for formal supervision to front line Staff.

–      Support Staff with Staff Appraisals where required.

–      Managing Medication through the safe handling of medication and Managing the Sickness absence of front line staff. 

–      Work as part of the team to provide a service in line with CQC essential standards and the processes and procedures of the organisation.

–      Support with the completion of Audits, Risk assessments and Rota Management.


–      Experience with working or caring for older people is essential. 

–      A willingness to undertake mandatory training and qualifications. 

–      An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

–      Must be flexible and can work weekends and Bank Holidays as required. 

–      Have good written and verbal skills.
