Support Work Team Leader

Seven Social Care is looking for a Support Work Team Leader to start a new role in Trafford. This is initially a temporary post for 3 months with the possibility of placement extension.
The role:
As Team Leader, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of care plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care and support, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want. We’re looking for people who will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with people who need care and support and their family.
Key Responsibilities:
To supervise Support Workers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that services provided by the team are of a consistently high quality, ensuring continuity of person centred care and support and adhering to the guidelines of best practice.
To allocate tasks to Support Workers on a daily basis and to effectively co-coordinate all available resources to ensure the safe, efficient and effective running of the service.
To support the Registered Manager to monitor staff performance. To identify training and development needs of the team by carrying out skills
performance assessments, supervisions, and PDRs if required.
Applicant Requirements:
Experience and Qualifications: Experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have experience within the learning disability sector and hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification.
Compliance: Up to date enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to work in the UK.
Hours: 36 hours a week – You will be required to work On Call on a rota basis. You will be required to be contactable from 4pm to 8am the following morning on weekdays. When you are covering On Call on Bank Holidays and weekends, you will be required to be contactable 24 hours per day.
