Seven Social Care is looking for several Support Workers start a new role in Bury. This is initially a temporary post for 3 months with the possibility of placement extension.

The role:

You will provide a Home Support service to older people who live in Sheltered Accommodation and throughout the Borough. The service aims to enable early detection of health or social care needs and promote a healthier lifestyle through reducing isolation and raising awareness of existing services.

Key Responsibilities:

To offer the Support at Home Service to older people living within the borough of Bury.

To contact any person who is referred to the Service to determine if they require the Support at Home Service.

To market the service, taking an active role during specific promotion events, and contact potential service users in order to explain the nature of the service.

To contact support at Home Customers as agreed in their support plan.

To undertake needs and risks assessments which are detailed in a support plan on a regular basis.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Two years’ experience in a similar role

Compliance: Up to date enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to work in the UK.

Hours: 37 hours a week

Travel: Hold a Full UK driving license and have regular use of a car – Ability to travel inside and outside the Borough
