Seven Social Care are looking for a Support Worker to work within Newham.

The role:

Together Café provides a safe space for people who feel that they are experiencing or moving towards a mental health crisis. People aged 18+ from Newham can help with a range of interventions including 1-1 support and safety plans, wellness & recovery action plans and social prescribing.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide quality support and interventions to people experiencing or likely to experience a mental health crisis, as an alternative to using statutory crisis services.

To carry out one to one sessions with service users and, to support them to develop their own wellness, recovery action and safety plans.

To maintain accurate records of service user visits, support and interventions provided and any outcomes.

Service opening times are: 17:00 – 21:00 Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 21:00 weekends and bank holidays.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:

 GCSE or Equivalent in English and Maths

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

Compliance: Recent DBS check on the update service.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 32 hours p/w.
