Support Worker – Yorkshire Collaboration

Seven Social Care is looking for a Support Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity in Halifax.

The role:

Female Assistant Support Worker (Urdu/and or Punjabi Speaker)

To support clients resident in the Council’s temporary accommodation facility for homeless women and children. To address the difficulties that has resulted in homelessness and to assist them to secure and move into settled accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as keyworker for a number of households staying in temporary accommodation in a person centred way.

Assist these households to actively move towards living independently of services.

Assist client/families or children and young people (as appropriate) with practical tasks based upon their needs and aspirations as identified in their support and safety plan.

Provide flexible support to client/families or children and young people (as appropriate) based on their needs and aspirations as identified in their support and safety plan, ensuring they are able to meet their goals which help them to achieve their outcomes.
