Tree Inspector

Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Tree Inspector to work within Leicestershire .

Initial 3 month contract as you’re covering a vacancy.

£14.43 per hour 

Hybrid working.

Temp – perm opportunities are possible but not 100% guaranteed. You would need to re-apply however if you’re already in the service then you have a better chance of being successful.

Job Description: Leicestershire County Council is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Tree Inspector to join our team. As a Tree Inspector, you will play a vital role in assessing, monitoring, and maintaining the health and safety of trees within the county.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of trees within the designated area to identify potential risks, diseases, or hazardous conditions.
• Assess tree health, stability, and structural integrity using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Document and maintain accurate records of tree inspections, including photographs and detailed notes.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Tree Inspector or similar role, preferably within a local government or environmental agency.
• Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and common hazards.
