Initial 3 month contract as you’re covering a vacancy.

£12.69 per hour 

Hybrid working.

Job Description:

Seven is seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Surgeon to join our team. As a Tree Surgeon, you will be responsible for the maintenance, care, and removal of trees on various properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience and expertise in tree climbing, pruning, felling, and general tree care practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tree maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, and shaping trees to ensure their health and aesthetics.
• Assess tree health and identify any diseases, pests, or structural issues that may require attention.
• Safely climb trees using appropriate equipment and techniques to access branches and perform necessary tasks.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
• Remove trees that are damaged, dead, or pose a risk to property or people.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations while performing tree work.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tree Surgeon or Arborist.
• Proficiency in climbing trees and using tree care equipment.
• Sound knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper tree care techniques.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different job sites.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in arboriculture would be an advantage.
