Volunteer Coordinator

Seven Social Care is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in Ealing within an OIder Peoples Discharge Team.
It would not require personal care but would require working closely with customer to prompt and support with daily livings skills. This position will be part time initially, 3 days a week for the next 4 weeks
Pay rate – £13.32 per hour
The role:
Lead on the volunteer program within the Ealing Service. Recruit and manage all aspect of the volunteers, work alongside the service manager to devise the best use of volunteer time within the projects.
Be the single point of contact for all volunteers engaged in this Service. Develop a volunteering toolkit for service staff, incorporating guidance, frameworks and minimum standards for volunteers participating in the programme.
Lead on the strategic recruitment of volunteers – including relevant reference and DBS checks.
Ensure that the volunteers reflect the diversity of users, taking action to strengthen the engagement of under-represented groups and ensuring activities are tailored to the needs of individual service users.
Work closely with the Service Manager to develop operational plan, identify the need for and most effective use of community, timescales, performance indicators.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: N/A
- Experience: 2+ years working within a same or similar role.
- Compliance: Proof of right to work and DBS dated within the last 12 months (or registered on the online update service.)
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
