Job Purpose

The Business Analyst will be part of the Commercial Intelligence Unit, and will aid financial analysis and commercial analysis tasks within a pharmaceutical setting, reporting directly into the Senior Business Analyst

Being exposed to a dynamic and complex commercial and financial business environment, the Business Analyst will be required to take ownership of tasks, and to communicate and work with key stakeholders within and outside the business.

The successful applicant, have experience in commercial and financial analysis, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. They will be highly numerate and have advanced MS Excel® skills (with credit also given for programming or coding skills).

He or she will also have the ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal and to work to deadlines, managing multiple tasks both independently and as part of a team.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Detailed modelling and analysis of complex commercial data to evaluate performance of the portfolio by product and by territory
  • Assistance with Product Development (PD) reporting
  • Compilation and production of the commercial intelligence reporting suite
  • Preparation of reports and dashboards for key stakeholders
  • Supporting on the implementation of financial and non-financial KPIs
  • Supporting on the modelling alongside financial and commercial due diligence within M&A transactions

  • 2+ years experience in a commerical, data focussed enviroment
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent Excel skills
