 Description

  • My client is currently recruiting for Clinical Operations Leads

    Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Continuously collaborates with the Clinical Operations Lead, global counterpart: global harmonisation of all clinical trial processes, procedures, risk management/mitigation, project status/tracking, clinical SOP updates, etc.

  • Responsible for clinical project management resourcing: ensuring that resources are aligned with project demands, assisting in the recruiting of new hires

  • Line manages clinical project management team: provides guidance and direction to ensure departmental and client/project goals are met; coach, develop and provide continuous feedback to project team members.

  • Identify/support/lead project management team internal training and its implementation

  • Develops and tracks key performance indicators/metrics to gauge and enhance project management team performance

  • Maintains strong, effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Makes recommendations and works cross-functionally across the global organization to implement solutions

  • Provides strategic direction to meet project timelines, enrolment goals,  sponsor objectives and contractual agreements

  • Responsible for all high-quality study deliverables (project conduct, study timelines, study status reports, etc.)

  • Reviews and provides input to new project proposals/contract development

  • Participates in conferences and bid defence meetings to promote company growth

  • Requires up to 25% travel (includes global travel)

    The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a science-related discipline / higher-level degree preferred.   The individual will have 10+ years of prior clinical operations experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a CRO / pharmaceutical environment. A successful record of accomplishment of resourcing/ building, developing, mentoring and leading clinical project management teams.  Prior experience in the start-up, management and close out of phase I, II and III clinical trials, required
