Job Description and Quality Objectives

Key Account Manager (KAM)

Looking for a Key Account Manager’s to promote and sell the company’s products. Customers can include consultants, doctors, nurses, and physiotherapist. The KAM will increase product awareness, answer queries, provide answers to product questions and do research to find new customers and to introduce new products. It is not the KAM’s job to answer questions on how a specific patient should be treated. The position is home based following the working from home policy, and every working day should be spent in front of customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • organizing appointments and meetings within the community- and hospital-based healthcare staff
  • demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists
  • meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals and procurements
  • undertaking relevant research to identifying and establishing new business
  • negotiating purchasing contracts
  • maintaining detailed records using SalesForce, entries on a daily basis (before 10 am the next morning but preferably “on the go” so the back office team is always updated.)
  • representing the company and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
  • managing both cost and sales budgets
  • reviewing sales performance and suggest adaptations and improvements to plans to meet targets
  • Attendance: is present and actively contributing to company meetings, teleconferences and conversations on all company communication tools (including but not limited to WhatsApp, zoom etc)
  • writing reports and other documents (for example Business cases and competitive information)
