QA/QC Regulatory and Compliance Executive

Location: London, NW2

Role : Permanent

Hours : Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Start date: ASAP

Reporting to Head of QA/ QC Department and Senior Management

The Role

We are now recruiting a QA/QC Regulatory and Compliance Executive to work with and support the

Head of Quality Assurance to ensure that the company’s manufacturing operations are fully compliant with all relevant Law and Regulation.

You will assist in the implementation of and be responsible for overseeing all Quality Assurance ensuring the highest level of quality within all processes, as well as taking an active part in audits, both internal and external.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•Creating, updating and maintaining files in relation to products and suppliers

•Working with the head of Quality Assurance & external consultant on implementing action plans in relation to ensuring the company is fully compliant with a range of UK and European Regulations

•Liaising with suppliers in relation to ensuring their operations are fully compliant with the company`s policies

•Working with the Head of QA on checking new batches, in goods inspection and managing all documentation relating to these

•Updating Quality Procedure Documents, Data Sheets and relevant documentation.

•Working with external consultant to ensure the company is informed of new legislation and regulation and ensuring that the company`s policies always reflect such updates

•Responsible for product quality – goods in inspection, checking new batches etc, responsible for documentation relating to these

•Checking and confirming packaging artwork of products to ensure all compliance regulations / symbols are included

•Any other tasks as required

The successful candidate will have:

•Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in a similar role (experience in the medical field is an advantage but not required as training will be provided)

•Excellent written and verbal English skills.

•Numerate with excellent attention to detail.

•Competent IT capabilities (Excel and Word) and Outlook.

•Ideally a graduate, but minimum education to A level and above.

•Hands-on, communicative and have an open approach to work, positive team player spirit

•Excellent communication skills as role requires regular liaison with suppliers and subcontractors and dealing with queries.

•Excellent eye for detail

•Self-motivated, flexible, able to multi-task, excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to prioritise and manage workloads.

•Ability to work confidently, remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and work within a team environment.

•Committed, punctual and reliable.
