We are currently working with a leading Medical Device organisation based in the Warwickshire area who are actively looking to secure a Quality Director to join their well established team. 

 

The role

To lead the QA team and responsible for teh implementation of teh QMS (Quality Management System)

 

Responsibilities 

  • Assure all standards and regulations are effectively implemented at the site
  • Assue effective implementation of the QMS 
  • Manage training, document controls, internal audit and other required quality processes
  • Maintain and control plant quality procedures
  • Develop and implement risk management methodologies 
  • Produce advanced quality planning documentation where applicable 
  • Responsible for the maintenance of technical files 
  • Manage local Supplier Quality Management and sterilsation
  • Manage external audits by Regulatory Bodies and customers
  • Prepare Management Review
  • Ensure effective handling of customer complaints
  • Ensure effective implemetnation of the CAPA

Required Skills

  • 10+ years experience in a medical device manufacturing enviroment 
  • 5+ years Quality manangement experience 
  • Previous management experience is essential 
  • Extensive knowledge in validations, Quality Planning, Product Validation, MDD/EUMDR & MDSAP
  • Degree educated
