I am currently searching for an experienced Trade Manager for a fast growing company in the Global Ophthalmic Market.
Their core competencies are product development and technology applications for the manufacturing of sterile eye products.
The role of the Trade Manager will be
Brand-focused business building.
Ensure sales objectives are met in line with company expectations
Accountable for development of ambitious business development and sales plans to maximize UK growth
To work with key internal stakeholders to develop strategic and commercial plans for the UK
An expected split of 90% Brand work (Rx and OTC) and 10% Generic work.
Experience in working in the ophthalmic marketplace is an advantage
A demonstrable track record of sales to organizations where there are multiple stakeholders.
Account management experience of wholesalers, retail chains, and online suppliers would be an advantage, though management of large NHS organizations considered
A track record of being detailed orientated. Often there is one chance to get things right, certainly one chance to get it right first time.
Experience in writing account plans and planning out work on a quarterly and annual basis.
Experience in forecasting and budget setting is required
Experience in negotiating contracts with involving multiple customers within an account is desirable.
We are seeking the ability to demonstrate how candidates have assessed a customer and positioned and won business in the past
Past experience where high levels of autonomy can be demonstrated.
It would be an advantage to show working in small dynamic high growth environments.
The successful candidate will have to be comfortable building the business from a low base against well-resourced competitors.
This role is offering up to £65,000 depending experience.
