The hospital is a specialist in-patient service for older adults with complex mental and physical health needs. To enable us to deliver a service that supports assessment, treatment and transition, as well as longer term care pathways, we have a diverse team of clinical professionals.
We are now looking for a registered nurse preferably with experience in older adult’s mental health as well as middle management experience to provide clinical and managerial leadership for our nursing and clinical services at the hospital.
You will support the Clinical Manager in delivering a specialist, high quality service with a proactive role within the governance systems of the hospital.
You will provide direction and support to the Nursing team as well as managing the accompanying budgets. The post holder show their ability to engage with the team in setting and monitoring high standards of care in accordance to Care Quality Commission standards. You will also possess effective leadership skills and experience of motivating and developing others.
From you, we will need commitment and drive to provide the highest quality of care. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this post, as you’ll be working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with a wide variety of people. A knowledge of, and interest in, the mentoring of students and the supervision and appraisal processes is also desirable.
