The team at Seven Resourcing has done it again, taking on the legendary London Marathon 2023, all in the name of charity and good vibes!
26.2 Miles of Fun, Sweat, and Cheers
When we heard the call of the London Marathon, we knew it was a challenge we couldn’t resist. But this wasn’t just about testing our endurance or clocking a new personal best. Oh no, this was about lacing up for a cause close to our hearts – raising funds for the phenomenal Ormiston Families.
Our team of runners, all eager first-timers, embraced the training, the carb-loading, and even the inevitable muscle aches, with gusto and high spirits. From the starting line in Greenwich to the iconic finish on The Mall, we were ready to conquer every mile with grit and grins.
A Thousand Cheers for a Thousand Pounds
The energy on race day was electric, and the streets of London were alive with runners and spectators alike. Our Seven Resourcing team, decked out in charity colours and beaming smiles, took to the course with determination and a sense of camaraderie that could be felt throughout the city.
With every mile passed and every cheer from the crowd, we were fueled by the knowledge that we were running for a fantastic cause. Together, our magnificent marathoners raised a whopping £1,000 for Ormiston Families, contributing to their vital work supporting children, young people, and families across East Anglia.
