Seven Social Care are currently looking for an experienced Locum social worker to assist on a temporary basis. Prior experience and confidence with Adult safeguarding enquiries and investigations is essential and should be evidenced in applications.

The successful candidate must have solid safeguarding experience. You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC. You will be expected to have a solid knowledge base within adult social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

You will have the ideas, values and knowledge that ensure that our responses are person centred, strength based, safe and effective with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support. You will work on your own initiative in order to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process. We are interested in staff with experience in mental health, learning disability, physical disability, and older people.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Social Care England registration. Hold an NVQ in Health and Social Care

Experience: 2+ years working with Adults/older people as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.

Compliance: Up to date Social Care England registration and Enhanced DBS.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37hours p/w.
