Seven Social care is looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional.

Start: Monday – Friday 9-5 – ASAP – Temp

Key Responsibilities:

Candidates for this role must be a qualified and practising Approved Mental Health Professional.

To work as an Approved Mental Health Professional to carry out Mental Health Act assessments in line with the Local Authority’s statutory duties.

Working across a range of community and hospital settings in Nottingham City and the surrounding areas. To complete social circumstances reports and to attend mental health review tribunals

Applicant Requirements:

MUST – Qualified and practising Approved Mental Health Professional.

Knowledge/ Experience:

      Where appropriately qualified, to undertake the duties and responsibilities placed on an Approved Mental Health Professional, or DOLS Assessor, including assessments of people who are in mental health crisis in accordance with the mental Health Act.

To apply advanced knowledge of a wide range of policies in reflective evidence based practice.

To undertake case management responsibilities that include adult-focused assessments of need within a person centred approach, monitoring, co-ordinating and review of care plans.

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
