Seven Social Care are looking for a number of Care Assistant to work in Rotherham. The position will involve working with one of the Council’s care homes. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £12.14 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company). Candidates will be required to work a variety of shifts.

The role:

The post holder will provide personal care and needs led support to adults with a learning disability, and autism, in a residential, respite setting, in line with meeting Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and the Philosophy of Dignity in Care Principles.

Key Responsibilities:

      Work with the team to provide sensitive care and guidance to service users in areas of personal care, daily living, health, social integration and emotional support.

Contribute towards the monitoring and assessment of service users plans, reviews and assessment of risks.

Adhere to agreed individual support plans communicating any areas of concern about these plans to the senior on duty.

Assist service users to access community resources and a range of agreed activity programmes both group and individual adhering to agreed measures to reduce any associated risk.

Assist service users to deal with behavioural difficulties and other vulnerabilities.

Maintain confidential unit records and record progress in service user’s files adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 40 hours p/w.
