Seven Social Care are looking for a Senior Children’s Support Workers based in Gateshead. These are temporary posts, working full time.

The role:

We are looking for several Senior Children’s Support Workers based in Gateshead. These positions are for 37 hours per week, you will be required to work shifts including early mornings, evenings , weekends and night shifts. You will need experience working with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the completion of care plans, risk assessments, reviews, incident & accidents reporting.
  • Supporting clients with morning and evening routines
  • Supporting clients with challenging behaviour and adopting de-escalation techniques
  • Supporting client’s with in house and external activities.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples.
  • Experience: 2+ years working with children.
  • Compliance: Up to date DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
