Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Childrens Sevices Team Leader to work with a well-known childrens service in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This role is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying an hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.

The role:

Please note this role is countywide and you will need to be able to drive and have a vehicle available for work purposes. The hours are flexible, and you will be required to work late one evening per week (up to 10pm). Your working pattern will be adjusted to keep your overall hours at 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

A diverse service working with disabled children and young people up to the age of 19 years. You will be responsible for planning, resourcing and evaluating sessions across evenings, weekends and school holiday periods. Each activity needs to offer children and young people a wide range of stimulating and fun activities promoting peer interaction and social skills. You will be required to keep up to date records, write reports and attend child and family focused meetings including child protection and Child in Need meetings.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ in Childrens Social Care.
  • Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role.
  • Compliance: Recent DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
