Start: 17 August 2020 – 31 st March 2021

Rate: £10.97

Covid 19 specific – High Street and Neighbourhood Support

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with individual businesses who are trading to / not yet opened:

  • Understand the impact of Covid-19 on their business
  • Identify any assistance required to trade safely
  • Support them in operating within Government guidance
  • Assist with relevant risk assessments
  • Understand the impact of Covid-19 on their business
  • Understand the barriers preventing them from opening
  • Work with the business to devise and agree a plan of action to support reopening
  • To be observant of how our High Streets are functioning in line with Covid-19 guidance
  • To engage with DCC and external services to ensure our High Streets remain safe

Applicant Requirements:

Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Educated to degree level in regeneration / economic development or related field.
  • Project management qualification
  • Experience in developing and delivering projects
  • Experience of working with public sector partners, the voluntary / community sectors, business sector and employers
  • Experience of managing / working to budget
  • Experience of identifying and leading multi-disciplinary project groups
  • Knowledge of economic activity and its influences
  • Ability to plan, formulate, manage and monitor projects
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Analytical skills to translate and present information into simple terms
  • A current valid driving licence and appropriate insurance

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
